September 19th, 2001 - Half-Life and Counter-Strike Updates
They have released the version 1.3 of Counter-Strike finally. It includes 3 new maps, 1 updated map, and lots of fixes. As usual there are two flavors: a 1.1 -> 1.3 upgrade that is 37 megs, and a full version that is 100 megs. The upgrade is available on my ftp site.

They also released the Half-Life 1108 update. It is available as an upgrade or a full version as well. The upgrade is available on my ftp site:

Both servers are running the new version.

March 25th, 2001 - Counter-Strike 1.1 Released
They have released a pretty big update to Counter-Strike with the 1.1 version. It includes new maps, new skins, and lots of fixes. As usual there are two flavors: a 1.0 -> 1.1b upgrade that is 22 megs, and a full version that is 87 megs. Both servers are now running this version.

January 23rd, 2001 - Quake3 Server Updated
I have finally updated the Quake3 server to the 1.27g version. If you are playing the Windows version I would suggest installing the 1.27h BETA version upgrade as well. It seems to have better frame rates than 1.27g. You can get both files from |id|'s ftp site:

November 9th, 2000 - Counter-Strike 1.0 Released
The first non-beta release of Counter-Strike is out! There is a full 1.0 file which is 82mb and a Beta 7.1 -> 1.0 upgrade which is 23mb. Both servers are already running the new version so you have to upgrade to be able to connect. As always, let me know if you see any problems.

September 21st, 2000 - Another Counter-Strike Server Added
Since the Quake2 and Quake3 servers have been pretty quiet, I have shut down the Quake3 Mod server and started a 24/7 Counter-Strike server. Just connect to gumbydeath.mike-d.com and either save the day or blow stuff up!

August 23rd, 2000 - Web Site Gets A Face Lift
I hate change...I fear change...but sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet. Lot's of stuff has changed around here, and I haven't been keeping up with them. So the Gumby Death web page has finally gotten a little face lift. Nothing earth shaking, but hopefully more up to date info and a cleaner interface.

Please let me know if you find any dead links or wrong info. Thanks!

August 3rd, 2000 - Gumby Death Gets Upgraded!
Our kind host Steve Fox from www.abq.com who hosts all my web sites and Gumby Death has graciously given us a new box! We now have a Celeron 400 with 128mb of RAM and a 20gb hard drive! Look for additional Quake 2 or Quake 3 mods to show up soon. Thanks Steve!

July 17th, 2000 - Counter Strike Hits Gumby Death!
Just because we don't want to ignore other games out there, we have now added a Counter Strike for your sniping pleasure. It is only up from 6pm to 6am MST for now, but that should pacify us for a while. Stop by www.counter-strike.net for files and more info.

December 6th, 1999 - Quake 3 Arena Is Here!
Well it is finally out and we got it up and running. Just connect to gumbydeath.mike-d.com and join the new fragging world!

October 8th, 1999 - New Deathmatch Maps
I have added the KT-imPAKt maps to the server's map rotation. Click on the MAPS link on the left and join the fun!

September 9th, 1999 - WWW.GUMBYDEATH.COM Is Alive!
Well I got fired up and decided to register a new domain, so this web page can be officially reached at WWW.GUMBYDEATH.COM . . . How cool is that?!?

If these monitors do not show up you need to install Q3Plug version 1.1b5 or higher
